Barrio Fiesta London 2018 (video)

This past Saturday we attended the 34th Barrio Fiesta sa London 2018 at Apps Court Farm near Walton-on-Thames. The weather was great (too hot actually) and thousands of people came to see famous Filipino celebrities perform. The celebrities we saw on the Saturday included Lassy Marquez (who was also the host), Inigo Pascual, Edward Barber, Maymay Entrata, KZ Tandingan and Yeng Constantino. Other than the music performances there was also plenty of delicious Filipino food to enjoy. It is definitely an event to have on your calendar if you are at all interested in Filipino culture. Last week Racel and I decided that it would be nice to show our followers who are not in the UK some of the more famous sites of London. Stops on this quick tour included Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, M&M’s World, Big Ben (kind of) and of course Tower Bridge.

This past weekend we attented the Biggin Hill Festival of Flight. The weather was a bit cold and dark in the morning with a few drops here and there but it cleared up quite a bit towards the afternoon. The flying display included the RAF Red Arrows who gave a great display towards the end of the day. The video contains most of the highlights from the display on Sunday. Apologies for the shaky and sometimes badly exposed video but I am no professional.
